Not Traditional Jewellery
In pairing the age-old process of bronze casting with the new rapid prototyping technology, it was essential to justify designing a unique product which could not be made any other way. The result is Not Traditional Jewellery. A base part is designed and printed using the rapid prototyping technology, which is then used as a mould to make the second part from wax. Both pieces are then used in the bronze casting process to cast the product in bronze. The base part and wax part can both be modified by the customer, the former via software and the latter using hands and tools, making the outcome different every time.
